We did it.
Thanks to the voters of Forest Hills and all of my supporters, I was re-elected to a second term on the Forest Hills School Board.
I could not have made it through the past couple months if it wasn’t for my amazing campaign team: my mom, husband, and brother. My sisters, dad and sister-in-law also helped out.
The school board has a lot on our plate and it’s time for us to start moving. I’m looking forward to making a timeline for the superintendent search (which will probably start after the holidays). The facilities committee is forming now and hopefully we will be exploring finances and where we stand with the next operating levy. With all of this, I hope to expand the district’s community engagement.
Thank you for the 6,549 votes and congratulations to incumbent Julie Bissinger and newcomer Forest T. Heis.
